a "Found" Wedding Story begins with...

Okedokee everyone, 7 WEEKS LEFT TO THE DAY!!!

Here at ground 'Found' we are super duper excited. :)
There are about a dozen major tasks left to get underway for the big day,
The detailing of this occasion has been special and more than extra-ordinary.
The people who are coming are close relatives/friends with no more then 33ish attending,
give or take a few...we are modestly celebrating this momentous occasion in our own backyard, and have been quietly making steps to ensure all details have been thought through, which is actually a great deal of mind work when you get right down to it, however this is what doing it yourselves is all about.

By this point the Bride, AySes, has gone through the event a few times in her mind and hatched many elements to help fine tune the tone of the ceremony and meal afterwards.

Below this picture is a link to each STAGE of the production of our "Found" Wedding Story. keep coming back to this page for updates as there is sure to be some weekly.
As well we have moved the brief description of what it is we are up to below the links.

final stages;
<there are a bunch showing the before and AFTER but out of order. sorry but thems the way it came down the shoot. i suppose i could have editted some more, but to be honest with you...time has run awry.

The World of Automation and instant big budget over spends for Weddings these days is astronomical to say the least. From the price of the wedding gown, to flowers, to renting a hall and dishes, table clothes, furniture, photographer, a men's suit/tux, jewellery, accessories, catering, to servers, and staff the costs can really naturally take a turn out of budget that is to be expected.

However regardless of this AySes is DETERMINED to create an inexpensive yet cozy small WEDDING STORY with only FOUND & SECONDHAND ITEMS as much as possible, <excluding the food and drinks :)> and you are all welcome to join us as we see thru this window how she finds, and puts it altogether :) we will show you step by step how you can also have this COTTAGE COUNTRY WEDDING STORY at a fraction of the cost! With price comparisons and pictures of befores and afters you will find how we take a simple double back driveways and turn it into a WEDDING STORY PICTURE :)

Summer of 2011

In the city of Toronto, Ontario finding things; clothing, furniture, books, shoes, and house hold items sitting neatly outside houses for others to re-use is a way of our lifestyle.
As a student, or recycler, or practical being this is a fundemental part of the 3 Rs <RRR>
ReUse, Refurbish, Recycle.
Its our way of trying to contribute to less waste and exchanges like this also help those of us that maybe need this or that but live on a very tight budget.

I like to call it TREASURE HUNTING<TH>!
TH season is the warmer months, however you may sometimes
if you are luckily in the right place, at the right time find that some ppl  will donate to the  outside givings ALL YEAR ROUND.

This is a great FREE way to FREELY SHARE AND FIND with your fellow person in TORONTO :)

Also CRAIGSLIST (www.craigslist.org/toronto)
has a FREE SECTION that works really well, however it may take a bit more effort to get to and the competition factor sets in.

Since the ECOSTORM many of us were wiped out in many ways, and it was hard to get back on our feet. This element of FOUND TREASURES is a heaven sent honour system of GOOD WILL and KINDNESS as well as helping the environment.

If you have a bit of cash and still have not found what you need SECOND HAND shops all over the city offer REASONABLE and AFFORDABLE QUALITY goods at a fraction of the price. THE POINT IS to help the community and ourselves, our world, and our own finances= WIN/WIN situation all around when you chose to either do some treasure hunting OR shop at your local or city wide SECOND HAND SHOPS.
AN ECONOMIC SOUND CHOOICE FOR A BETTER TOMORROW.

FACT: did you know the largest DUMPS in the WORLD ARE CLOTHING DUMPS? that is right, since MASS PRODUCTION ppl throw away MORE FABRIC then you can imagine!! So choosing to work with these mentioned systems of things is really a mindful EARTH CHOICE.

Below are pictures of some of the things that i found and shared
(not able to present the over 1000 items i found that were clean and usable but you get the picture with these i am sure)
